Office Manager and Registered Respiratory Therapist - Ann Georges

Ann Georges, B.S., R.R.T. is our office manager and registered respiratory therapist.  Ann was the office manager for Dr. Buchalter, the St. Thomas-based otolaryngologist who retired several years ago.  Dr. Shapiro took over Dr. Buchalter’s practice upon his retirement and Ann became the office manager for Virgin Islands Ear, Nose & Throat.

Ann runs our day-to-day operation.  She supervises the front office area to ensure that our patients’ visits and interactions with our staff are efficient, high quality experiences.  Ann has overall responsibility for appointment scheduling, electronic medical records, surgical scheduling and patient flow within the office.

Ann is also an experienced and well-trained respiratory therapist.  She performs an array of pulmonary function tests for patients with asthma, allergies and other respiratory problems.  In addition, Ann manages our CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure) program.  Ann works one-on-one with patients in this program, instructing them on the care and use of the device and following their progress to help ensure positive results.
