Billing Specialist - Marilyn Frazer

Marilyn Frazer is the billing specialist at Virgin Islands Ear, Nose & Throat.  She is responsible for managing the electronic submission of claims to our patients’ health insurance companies.  She ensures that claims are filed on a timely basis and with proper coding.  Marilyn is also a seasoned customer service advocate who responds to billing inquiries and works with patients to resolve billing issues and discuss payment options. 

Having worked for over a decade at HIP Administrators, Inc., a Florida-based third party administrator for health plans, Marilyn is very familiar with the types of insurance plans that exist today.  She also has an in-depth understanding of the codes and processes that health insurance companies use to determine payment on medical claims.

Marilyn earned an Associate of Arts degree and served in the United States Army and National Guard for 11 years prior beginning a career in the healthcare field.

Marilyn has been with our practice since early 2007 and enjoys interacting with patients and insurance companies to facilitate the efficient payment of medical claims.
